The Egress E1 friction hinge is designed for safety and emergency exit, the hinge is designed to allow the window to open to egress only. Designed for side hung applications they are ideal for first floor applications used in conjunction with non-locking operating handles.

Reflex - egress/ easyclean

The Reflex hinge is designed to allow the window to open initially to egress for emergency exit in accordance with current standards and then Easy Clean for safe external cleaning of the glass. This is achieved simply by fully opening the window and applying pressure to the sash.

The E2 Easy-clean to egress hinge is designed to operate as a normal hinge allowing cleaning of the external glass surface upon opening. Egress is achieved by releasing the green tab and applying pressure to the sash to open the window to its maximum width allowing emergency exit.
